	Geoff Reed specializes in photographing people. He selects the perfect light, puts people at ease, and then photographs them with style! With more than twenty years experience as a corporate portrait photographer, Geoff captures the very essence of his subject, be it in the boardroom or under the water!
		Geoff has worked with clients throughout the United States: in California, Colorado, Texas, New Jersey, New York, Florida and Arizona. His published credits include advertising, corporate and editorial photography. Geoff’s enthusiasm carries over into the photography classes and workshops he teaches at Scottsdale Community College. In 2005 and 2006, he led photography workshops to Paris, France and Prague, Czech Republic, and is planning photo expeditions to Guanajuato, Mexico in June ’08, and to Prague in July ’08. A life-long advocate for photography education, he currently serves on the Photo-Imaging advisory board for Metro-Tech in Phoenix, Arizona.
	some of Geoff's many exciting assignments include: Underwater photography of whales and dolphins while Senior Staff Photographer at Sea World in San Diego and San Antonio; Dive Master for a BBC Wildlife Films production in the Great White Shark-infested waters of Guadalupe Island, Mexico; Portraiture of Heads of State while on staff at the United Nations, and extensive assignment photography for Citicorp in Berlin, Hong Kong and Manila.

	Geoff's background:
Geoff earned his Bachelor's degree in Commercial Photography from Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California. He also has a B.A. in Geology from the University of Colorado, and studied English and Political Science at Georgetown University in Washington D.C. The son of American diplomats, Geoff has lived and travelled extensively in Asia, Europe and Africa, and is fluent in French.			Geoff has won awards in the Bergen County Museum's New Jersey Fine Arts Competition, and from the Art Directors Club of New Jersey. His work has been published in Newsweek, The Wine Spectator, California Highways, South West Art, Spirit, Texas Monthly, San Diego Magazine, the L.A. Times, the San Diego Union Tribune, The Arizona Republic, and National Geographic Books.
	Geoff lives in Phoenix right across from Piestewa Peak. When not out shooting, he's teaching photography or hiking.
